What has gone on

Well, I lost a lot of my pictures and I got a new computer, but my dialup connection was painfully slow in putting up posts. Also, I had some Real Life issues, but now I am back up and running once again. I am pretty up to date with Sims 2 Expansions, having gotten Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets and Seasons, along with the Stuff Packs of Family Fun, Happy Holidays and Glamour Life.

My Sims life has gone on well. Vidcund's wife Aiyana passed away, and Vidcund was visited by his former flame Circe Beaker at the funeral. Things heated up between them and she married him before only a few days had passed. Together, they had a child, a daughter named Daina. Still, Vidcund was an old man now, and shortly after his daughter became a teen, he passed on, and Circe moved back in with her husband and Nervous Subject, leaving her daughter behind. Cruel of her, but what do you expect from a Wealth Sim?

Pascal was the next Curious to succumb to death, and finding the house filled with too many memories, Edward and Chiala built a new house across the street and moved in with their family. They adopted two pets: Cleo Katnap and Peaches Katnap, both cats, and both pets have jobs. Cleo in Show Business and Peaches in Service. The family also bought two cars, and installed a Fish pond on one side of the house, and a grove of fruit trees and a greenhouse on the other. The first season, Chiala grew lots and lots of tomatoes, and between fertilizing, planting and caring for them, gained a gold gardening badge. So did Edward. The greenhouse is Huge, but thankfully, Chiala only works one day a week, since she is at Level 10 in her Natural Scientist job. Edward, too, is at Level 10 in his artist job.

Most of their children are now in college, in the Canyon Commons Dorm at LaFiesta Tech with their cousins, children of Lazlo and Crystal. All are now in Junior year. Daina has fallen in love with another alien Sim, Jaxxon Brenner, brother of Allison and Sora.

Then, later that day, it was Lazlo's turn. A lot of screaming, moaning and clutching his belly later, he had an alien baby daughter, Chelida.

And screamed and moaned. Before she knew it, she was blessed with a baby son, which she named Baldanin.

Soon, it was time. Crystal clutched her belly...

Soon, the two of them were waddling around the house in unison.

Not the only one

And she wasn't the only one, either. During a late-night session with the telescope, Lazlo had a close encounter of the probing kind, and soon he was in the maternity clothes right along with his wife.

Once again, she was "in the family way".

Soon, Crystal was making the toilet all stained and ugly looking. Yep, it had happened.

Something new

While the house already had a pool, Crystal gained 50,000 Simoleons in a stock trade, and with the proceeds, she purchased a hot tub, which she installed on the edge of the pool. As soon as Lazlo got home, they wasted no time in testing it out and christening it with a little love action.

A friend

While teaching Seraphim, Crystal became one of her best friends, as well. A lot of snuggling, playing and reading to her also helped.

Private School

The headmaster was thrilled with the house. Both headmasters were, actually, since different ones came for Annaria and Seraphim. It only took four rooms for the house to get the maximum room score, and a nice dinner of Salmon garnered over 50 points for the dinner portion of the required 100 points. A little shmoozing took care of the rest, and both Annaria and Seraphim were granted entree into the exclusive Private School.

Annaria, meanwhile, got into Private School. Her next task was to learn how to study, in which she was taught by Crystal.

And then it was time to become a child, this time with her extended family around her (that's her uncle Pascal and her cousin Tolnaer on the right, respectively).

Then it was Seraphim's turn to grow up, into a toddler.

When some visitor kicked over the garbage can, the lot became infested with roaches from the spilled garbage. Crystal tried to kill them herself, but failed.

Instead, she called the exterminators, and the next day, they showed up to show those bugs the door.

When Lazlo moaned and clutched at his stomach, everyone knew it was time. Alone in the house with Annaria, Lazlo gave birth to his own little bundle of joy, whom he named Seraphim, or Sera for short.

Lazlo needed some time out for fun, so he played his pinball game.

Crystal was studying hard. As an Ace player, she could only play for so long, and she was looking to move up to being a coach. So she worked hard on her mechanical skill.

Lazlo really started bulging on the third day. He was so surprised by the growing of his tummy that he came down to make Breakfast for them in the altogether! But he kept up on the swimming.

Lazlo didn't let his baby problem slow him down. He continued to go for swims...

Meanwhile, Lazlo had gotten abducted the night before while everyone else was asleep. The next day, he started to bulge in all the wrong places, not to mention feeling nauseated. So, when he changed into maternity clothes, it was actually something of a relief.

A Parent's greatest help

By using both Smartmilk and the Thinking Cap, Toddlers can learn skills eight times as fast as normal. For parents with time-consuming jobs, this is a godsend to teach your sim toddlers faster. In fact, learning all three skills only took Annaria about a day's worth of time!

With so much for Annaria to learn in such a short time, Crystal got out the Smartmilk and the Thinking Cap, allowing Annaria to learn at super-fast speed. First it was talking.

And afterwards...

Right afterwards, Edward took off his thinking cap and they went straight to bed and tried for a Baby. It worked and now Chiala is pregnant. She also changed her job and went into the challenging world of the natural scientist, getting a job as a dinosaur cloner.

Shortly after Chiala realized her fondest wish and became Captain Hero, she and Edward knew it was time for them to finally marry. And so they did.

Edward and Chiala were engaged and living together, but while they would kiss, make out and woohoo, they didn't yet try for a baby, because they are serious, upright young sims.

Soon after, Chiala pulled up a chance card that led to her becoming Captain Hero! Thereafter, she was in Permanent Platinum Mood Status.

Then she maxed out Mechanical.

Chiala worked hard, and got a job as Police Chief. Since her dream was to be Captain Hero, she worked hard, studying, to improve her skills. First, she maxed out logic.

Meanwhile, Allison called her sister Sora, and Aden introduced her to Tolnaer. Tolnaer was charmed by Sora, and he spent as much time with her as Aden did with Allison. Then, he flirted with her, and she fell in love with him, as did he with her.
